You can always hire an agency for lead generation which does work, but costs money. Or you can save your money and spend your time learning how Internet lead generation works on your own. In my opinion, this is the best way to go.

The first step in effective Internet lead generation is to make use of an opt-in list. You can do this by launching splash pages that offer something to visitors in exchange for their email address. It's simple if you have the right product which is key. Don't offer something for free if it doesn't correspond with what you are trying to sell. That would be like giving someone an eBook about how to take care of dogs only to try and sell them a sewing machine. It won't work out!

Give Aways

DVDs, special reports on the subject of your niche, software programs and eBooks are all great things to think about giving away. You can make the products yourself or hire someone else to put something together for you, there is no right or wrong way to do this.

I personally pay someone else to put together my reports and eBooks so I can focus on other aspects of the business, but for a long time I made the give away products myself successfully.
